Efect of Phaseolus vulgaris genotypes associated or not to insecticides, on the control of Bemisia tabaci (Gennadius) biotype B (Hemiptera:Aleyrodidae) and Caliothrips phaseoli (Hood) (Thysanoptera:Thripidae) | Efectos de genotipos de Phaseolus vulgaris asociados o no a insecticidas, en el control de Bemisia tabaci (Gennadius) biotipo B (Hemiptera:Aleyrodidae) y Caliothris phaseoli (Hood) (Thysanoptera:Thripidae)

Se evaluó la influencia de la aplicación de insecticidas en diferentes genotipos de Phaseolus vulgaris con el objetivo de estudiar el comportamiento de las poblaciones de Bemisia tabaci biotipo B y Caliothrips phaseoli en la época de octubre a diciembre de 2006. Se utilizó un diseño experimental de bloques al azar dispuesto en un esquema factorial 6 x 2, representado por genotipos e insecticidas, respectivamente, con 4 repeticiones. Se utilizaron los genotipos LP 01-38, LP 9979, BRS-Pontal, CV-48, IAC Harmonia e IAC Jaraguá. Las evaluaciones se realizaron desde los 25 a los 53 días después de la emergencia, evaluándose el número de huevos y ninfas de B. tabaci biotipo B y ninfas de C. phaseoli en 10 foliolos. En la colecta se evaluaron el número de vainas por planta, peso de 100 semillas y producción en Kg/ha. De los resultados obtenidos sin aplicación de insecticidas se concluyó que los genotipos menos ovipositados por B. tabaci biotipo B fueron LP 9979 y IAC Jaraguá y los más fueron CV-48 e LP 01-38, en cuanto que los genotipos LP 01-38 y IAC Harmonia fueron los menos infestados por ninfas de B. tabaci biotipo B y también presentaron mayor producción de granos por hectárea. Todos los genotipos fueron susceptibles a C. phaseoli. La aplicación de insecticidas redujo la oviposición y la presencia de ninfas de B. tabaci biotipo B y C. phaseoli generando un aumento en el número de vainas por plantas, en el peso de 100 semillas y en producción de grano (Kg/ha).

Английский. Influence of common beans genotypes associated or not the insecticides use on B. tabaci biotype B on C. phaseoli populations were evaluated as their damage caused to the dry rainy season. The statistical design was the randomized block, by employing 6 x 2 factorial scheme, represented for genotypes versus insecticides, totalizing 12 treatments and 4 replications. The common beans genotypes LP 01-38, LP 9979, BRSPontal, CV-48, IAC Harmonia and IAC Jaragua was used. The number of eggs and nymphs of B. tabaci biotype B and nymphs of C. phaseoli on the leaflets, from 25 to 53 to days after plants emergency were evaluated. The number of the strings per plant, weight of grains and productions of grains (kg/ha) were estimated at harvest. It was concluded that less oviposition genotypes by B. tabaci biotype B were LP 9979 and IAC Jaragua, while the most oviposited CV-48 and LP 01-38; the genotypes LP 01-38 and IAC Harmonia were less infested of nymphs of B. tabaci biotype B and presented bigger production of grains (kg/ha); every genotypes were susceptible to attack of C. phaseoli; and the insecticide application reduced presence and oviposition of nymphs of B. tabaci biotype B and C. phaseoli and promoted increase on the number of strings per plant, weight of 100 grains and production of grains (kg/ha).
