Liver is a suitable site for invasion of extrahepatic tumors. However hepatic tumors may happen primarily. Among primary hepatic neoplasms hepatocellular carcinoma predominates in sheep and cattle. A large tumor was seen in liver and lung of a 3 years-old ewe at post slaughter examination. Tumors were diagnostic with white-yellow to red colors. Intra hepatic invasion was seen in different parts of liver. The tumor had significant border with normal parts. In histopathologic study tumor focuses with different sizes were seen, which were separated with a thin layer of connective tissue. In tissues of liver and lungs tumor, large neoplastic cells could be seen with large nucleus and abnormal shapes. Results of histopathologic study confirmed the existence of hepatocellular carcinoma and its metastasis to lungs. This tumor may spread with intrahepatic invasion and extrahepatic metastasis. Metastasis of this tumor to lungs and peritoneum has been reported.
