Английский. In the intensive swine production units, one of the most significant stressors is the thermal environment. Thermal stress has complex interactions with many factors, included innate or no specific immunity. The aim of this work is the evaluation of some no specific immunity parameters: haemolytic complement activity, serum lysozyme, serum bactericide activity and levels in pigs living in stressful environmental conditions. A prolonged exposure to environmental heat stress compromises the innate (no specific) immunity status, making the animals much more susceptible to other stressors or specific diseases

Nell'allevamento intensivo del suino all'ingrasso le variabili ambientali influiscono notevolmente non soltanto sul benessere e sulle produzioni, ma sulla vita stessa dell'animale. Uno dei fattori che esercita un'importante pressione è la temperatura ambientale, soprattutto nel caso di alte temperature. E' molto importante che negli allevamenti vengano presi, nella stagione estiva, idonei provvedimenti atti a mitigare questo stress, al fine di prevenire situazioni di disagio che possono incidere sulle performance degli animali. Abbiamo potuto evidenziare come lo stress da calore provochi uno stato di disagio dell'animale, con coinvolgimento del sistema immunitario aspecifico
