Study and selection on cold tolerance linse on international segregation popualation of lentil in dry land condition.

Characters separation in generations begin from f2 families and it continues up to f6 or fn. This study was included 3 experiments of evaluation and selection of lentil from international cold tolerance nursery that name of two experiments was (LIF6N-CT) that planted in Maragheh and Shirvan , the third experiment was LIF7N-CT with 184 single plant that was selected from segregation population of last year (F6 nursery), all of the ther experiment were planted with tow susceptible and Gazvin checks that layed out on autumn. After recording from agronomic characters for example stand ,vigor ,date of 50%flowering , date of maturity , etc… then the lines resistant to cold evaluated . At first selected the single plant from the crosses that had tolerant to cold such as high height, early maturity , based on top agronomic characters . Shirvan station be selected 21 lines from 8 hybrid and in Maragheh selected 31 singl plant from 3 hybrid among trail of LIF6N-CT and from LIF7N-CT there was fuzarium damaged on a few of lines. And 40 lines was selected.
