The results of two experimental trials carried out in 2004 and 2005, in vineyards of the Verona province, to control the grape berry moth (Lobesia botrana) with a new formulation of Bacillus thuringensis subsp. aizawai and in comparison with other B. thuringensis subsp. kurstaki based products and chemical products, are presented. In general, the trials confirm the high efficacy of B. t. in control of grape berry moth infestations and particularly the activity of B. t. aizawai, both on second generation larvae and the latest infestations, even with the presence of closed bunches

Vengono presentati i risultati di due prove sperimentali di campo effettuate nel 2004 e 2005, in vigneti del Veronese, per valutare l'efficacia contro la tignoletta della vite (Lobesia botrana) di una nuova formulazione di Bacillus thuringiensis subsp. aizawai, in confronto con altri prodotti microbiologici a base di B. thuringiensis subsp. kurstaki e prodotti chimici standard di riferimento. In generale, si conferma l'elevata efficacia di B. t. nel controllare le infestazioni di tignoletta e, in particolare, l'attività di B. t. aizawai, sia sulle larve di seconda generazione, sia su quelle più tardive, anche in presenza di grappoli chiusi e compatti
