We investigated rooting from cuttings of Tweedia caerulea (Blue Star) 'Yuki White'. 1. The highest rooting rate was found among cuttings taken 4-5 days before flowering, where both a water uptake compound and a rooting compound were used. 2. The rooting of cuttings in a closed plastic tunnel was superior to that of cuttings in mist propagation, due to a higher minimum temperature in the plastic tunnel. 3. Rooting of cuttings differed according to the cutting environment. A small increase in rooting rate was observed in cuttings taken 4-5 days before flowering compared with cuttings taken during flowering. The time of collecting cuttings was an important factor in the rooting rate.
