Fusarium wilt of parsley (petroselinum crispum Nym.) caused by Fusarium oxysporum

A new disease of parsley (Petroselinum crispum Nym.) was observed in Okayama Prefecture in 1987. The fungus constantly isolated from symptomatic vessel was identified as Fusarium oxysporum on the basis of morphological characteristics and pathogenicity. Fusarium wilt of parsley was proposed for the new disease name.
