Research on biofuel applications in Latvia's transport

The paper presents a short survey on biofuels research for transport application in Latvia, summarizes in short the results of research works and gives some prospects for further development of biofuels. Main studies and results on woodgas, biogas, rapeseed oil, biodiesel and bioethanol are analyzed and discussed.
