Biodiversity of weed flora in crops cultivated in organic, integrated and conventional production systems

The study aimed to assess the influence of organic, integrated and conventional crop production systems on weed flora diversity. The study was conducted in the long-term trial, where different crop production systems has been compared since 1994. The analysis of weed diversity was conducted on the fields of all crops cultivated in studied crop production systems, based on weed species composition and number of weeds. The study showed that the simplification of crop rotation and intensification of crop production results in biodiversity decrease in compared systems, in direction from organic system to monoculture of winter wheat
