The treatments in production experiment included two hop cultivars: aroma-type Lubelski and high alpha acid-type Marynka and two soil types: brown loess soil and medium alluvial soil. On an average, hop produced 5.7 t/ha of DM of organic matter and there was no variation between varieties. On an average nitrogen content in leaves and cones was twice higher than in the shoots. The cones contained twice more of phosphorus and significantly more of potassium than other parts of plants. Calcium and magnesium content in leaves was higher than in other parts of plant
