In the article presented is a brief characteristic of modern computer systems aiding the work of agricultural machines designers. Given is the range of their using and their basic classification. Specificity of agricultural machines designing and specificity of Polish industry of agricultural machines were as well shown in the article. Besides, two examples of using of modern software in agricultural machine designing were also presented
