The experiment concerned cultivars and levels of nitrogenous fertilization, aiming at estimation of the influence of differentiated nitrogenous fertilization on the yielding of plants and selected indices of canopy architecture of several spring wheat cultivars. The grain yield was significantly influenced exclisively by the weather conditions. The cultivars appeared to be evidently differentiated in respect of the plant's height.
