Social aspects of sustainable development of agriculture

This article presents some aspects of social sustainable development of agriculture. The Polish agriculture has transformed fast through industrial stage of development, which characteristics are not completely known. The essence of agriculture transformation presents changes of agricultural structures. In the social aspect, particular significance possess six structures, namely: agrarian, the purpose of production, labour input, economic sources of incomes and ecological. This structures were analysed in - the context of significance for agriculture development and basic characteristics of agricultural farms. The basic significance has agrarian structure, which in decisive degree has influence on other structures
