Influence of intercrop and nitrogen fertilization on technological value of spring wheat grain

The aim of this paper was to determine the influence of stubble crop and doses of nitrogen fertilization on the milling and baking properties of spring wheat grain Torka cultivar. Grain was harvested in 2003-05. In the experiment three levels of nitrogen doses (40, 80, 120 kg/ha) and two kinds of stubble crop (white mustard, mixtures: pea, horse bean and oat) were applied. Control sample was grain cultivated without fertilization and stubble crop. The study showed greater influence of nitrogen fertilization than stubble crop on the milling and baking properties of grain and flour Torka cultivar. The higher amount of nitrogen fertilization changed chemical and rheological properties of flour and dough
