Systematic position of Polish soils in international classification WRB 2006

Aim of this paper is comparison of systematic position of soils belonging to units of PTG Systematic of Polish Soils in two editions of World Reference Base for Soil Resources (WRB) 1998 and 2006. Authors give a special attention to units, which doesn't have direct counterparts in international systems of soil classification. During the preparation of second edition of WRB several propositions aimed to improve this system and to enhance classification of soils occurring on Poland territory was send to secretary of WRB working group, as well as published. This paper is presenting degree and ways how those propositions was introduced into WRB 2006
