The study data suggest that the geographic origin and population density have a significant effect in the average number and weight of eggs in egg mass. The tree species does not have a statistically significant effect on the above two parameters. The geographic origin and the tree species have a significant effect also on the percentage of parasitism, while population density does not have a statistically significant effect on this parameter. The hatching percentage depends on the origin and on the population density, while the tree species does not have a statistically significant effect on hatching percentage.
