Influence of different fattening duration (from 44 to 62 days) on basic productive traits of hybrid Hubbard chicken broilers was investigated. High significant and strong - complete correlation relationship, was stated. Calculated phenotypic correlation coefficients were as follows: r=0,77** - final body weight, r=-0.88** - average daily gain, r=0.84** - feed conversion, r=0.85** - mortality, and r=-0.91** - value of production index. According to the results and literature data, it is confirmed that period of fattening should be shorter (not longer than 44 days) in order to achieve better overall economic results. It is also stated that the best duration of fattening should be around 42 days.
