Puerperal diseases are big economic problem in swine production. Puerperium is period when sows are the most susceptible to infections, because of opened farrowing passages. The experiment was done using synthetic prostaglandine Synchromate (Bremer Pharma GMBH-Germany), and natural prostaglandine Dynolitic (Pharmatia-Belgium) postpartum. Results showed that, with using these materials, we got higher percentage of oestral reacting of sows, lower percent of dead-born or dying piglets and better reproductive results of examined sows in the next cycle.
