The influence of Ronkoleukin (Interleukin 2) on the hematological indices of draft horses with chronic atopic dermatitis was studied. The administration of the immunocorrector at the dose of 250000 U/head, three times with an interval of 48 h was accompanied by the changes in the picture of blood and leukogram. So, the number of erythrocytes by day 7 after the first injection increased 1.2 times (6.45T/l), the hemoglobin level – 1.4 times (234.7 G/l), hematocrit – up to 41.5%, the hemoglobin concentration in erythrocyte – 1.34 times (57.28%), coming back to the initial level at day 30. In the blood leukogram at day 7 there were observed an increase in young forms of neutrophils and stimulation of producing lymphokines; the migration percentage of leukocytes decreased up to 46.17. By day 30 the number of leukocytes increased 1.5 times (6.97 G/l), the migration percentage of leukocytes – up to 128. Thus, the administration of Ronkoleukin restored the disordered immunoregulating and tissue-protective function of T-lymphocytes, stimulated erythropoiesis and promoted the restoration of the working capacity of animals. The course of Ronkoleukin injections is advisable to use as an immunological component in the combined therapy of atopic equine dermatitis.
