The objective of our study was to monitoring microbial activity in different soil types and indicators of mineral fertilizer use, tillage, pesticides, high heavy metal presence, disturbances occurring due to soil compaction, etc. Presence of coliform bacteria is an indicator of soil sanitary quality or a general indicator of sanitary conditions in the environment.
