Integrated diagnosis was done and therapeutic efficacy of timalin, timogen and biopreparation LEKZ-1 for subclinical chronic endometritis (SCE) of polar foxes at the polar fox farm Plemzavod rodniki, the Moscow region. As is found, the occurrence of SCE is promoted difficult pathological delivery, postnatal wasting of females and the penetration into parturient canals staphylococci and streptococci, Escherichia and Proteus. Lifetime diagnosis because of the absence of clinical signs involved: bacteriological study of cervical vaginal excretions; the method of boiling cervical mucus in a test tube; biological (express method) and caustic silver tests; postmortem diagnosis – the study of pathomorphology of uterus and ovaries in sick females of polar foxes. The study has found out uterine endometrial hyperplasia, changes in tectorial epithelium, uterine glands, endometrial and muscular tissue blood vessels. The therapeutic efficacy of timogen at the dose of 2 mg/kg in combination with bicillin-5 thrice after 3 days was 90%. When administering LEKZ-1 comprising timogen, lactoalbumin, vitamin B1, B6 and levomycetin at the dose of 2 ml/kg also thrice after 3 days the efficacy was 80%. It is concluded that early gynecological examination (vaginal studies of females at day 13-15 after whelping) will promote timely detection of female polar foxes with SCE. The methods of treatment applying timogen, bacillin-5 and LEKZ-1 are recommended for use in fur animal farms.
