Evaluation of genetic resources of spring triticale

In each of 2003 and 2004 years a set of 17 spring triticale (XTriticosecale Witt.) genotypes was evaluated at the RIPP Piestany in Maize growing area with four controls varieties. This set contained 11 genotypes from Mexico, 2 from France, 2 from Italy, 1 from Czech Republic and 1 from Poland. The Variety Cabo was used as the Standard. During vegetation, making mechanical analyses of 30 plants, the values of the following traits were studied: vegetation period, plant height, health, lodging, uniformity, number of spikes/mE2, weight 1000 seeds, volume weight, yield t/ha. The results obtained were evaluated by summary statistics and analysis of variance, where year, genotypes and the interaction genotypes x year were significant source of variance.
