Application of lignohumates in forestry

The paper informs about results from an orientation testing of the application of liquid and solid lignohumates in growing the planting stock in forest nurseries, after plantation in clear-cut areas, and during the growth of young Norway spruce stands. The results revealed that the supplied preparations had a positive influence on the shoot length increment in transplants as well as on the root system (biomass of fine roots) of transplants and young stands. No effect of lignohumates application was detected on need length and colour. The preparation has a predisposition to contribute to Norway spruce revitalization.
