The condition of plantation Norway Spruce on spread rampart after chemical amelioration treatments (fertilizing) and the condition of soils on sites degraded by the bulldozer soil preparation on the Boleboř in Ore Mts. Bulldozer site preparation was widely used practice in the period of intense reforestation activities in the Ore Mts. during 1980sies. A study was performed to determine effect of Bulldozer site preparation on the further site development on a typical site near Boleboř village, among also effect of fertilizing on plantation stand. Chemical amelioration (fertilising) is among the principal tools used to restore degraded sites. These techniques were also used on the Ore Mts. Plateau on plots prepared by bulldozing. Growth of blue spruce plantation and site stands was compared to the plot plantation of blue spruce with birch. It was documented, that bulldozing represents site degradation, cause by humus and nutrient removal. In 2002 were spreaded ramparts which were made by bulldozer site preparation a then there were planted out plantings of Norway spruce and beech. Plantings were fertilized by three kinds of fertilizer and growth dynamics were monitored. Now the beech is not there because it was damaged by animals. It was studied: basic pedochemical characteristics of holorganic and upper mineral horizons, adsorption complex characteristics and exchangeable acidity, total nutrients content and content of plant available nutrients. On spread rampart were measured approximately height and plantation height increment in 2001-2004. Result shows positive effect of Birch on humus condition, negative effect on mineral horizon simultaneously. In humus horizon of Blue spruce proceed to deprivation of humus horizon, result of document shows useful effect of Silvamix Mg fertilizer. Content of Potassium is decreasing, the content of alls nutrients is sufficient.
