Problems of the agricultural mechanization at the contemporary stage of the agricultural development in Bulgaria

The problems of agricultural mechanization in Bulgaria are being analyzed in the paper. Recently,has been established that the energy supply and holdings' consolidation have moved on. The negative consequence stemming from the way the agrarian reform was pursued, such as the great number of small landowners and the inefficient operation with the existing machinery, are now progressively being surmounted. Bulgarian agricultural machinery production has the potential to satisfy the need of smallserial and special for the bulgarian conditions machines. The role of the state is to join and turn the resources of the all the institutions to raise the agricultural production in our country to a higher level, to control the balance of their interests, and to ensure science contribution to that meanwhile.
