[Distribution and frequency of occurrence of postnatal endometritis at highly productive cows]

This investigation describes quantity of cases of retained fetal membranes and postpartum endometritis in high-yielding cows in Republic of Belarus. Interrelations between this pathologies and its season character area are analyzed. As a result of the spent research it is established, that postpartum endometritis at high-yielding cows is a widespread pathology in farms of the republic and makes 42,1 - 53.9%. There is a sharp necessity for working out of effective means and methods of preventive maintenance and treatment of the given diseases
