Cows with placenta retention had in most cases normal content of calcium, phosphorus, magnesium, iron, and serum proteins in the end of pregnancy and in after-calving period. However, the content of albumin fraction was considerably lower than that globulin. This is lead to decrease of A/G coefficient in the pregnancy, especially after calving. Low A/G coefficient could be used for as a prognosis indicator of pathology development. Differences in methods of animal treatment influenced the examined blood indicators, but in the whole did not change indicators’ dynamics after calving. Increase in calcium and general protein in the blood had a negative influence on indicators of reproducfion ability of test animals, and increase in phosphorus, albumins, globulins and A/G coefficient had a positive influence
