[Efficiency of use of wood and shrub plants from slopes and berms of canals for fuel and energy purposes]

Results of calculations of economic efficiency of use of shrub plants from slopes and berms of the reclamation canals for fuel and energy purposes were presented. Two variants of shrub plants reclaiming were considered: burning and conversion into fuel chips. The realized calculations showed that in the conditions of current procurement prices the expenses for bush reclaiming by means of their conversion into fuel chips were 2,1 times lower than the expenses for the traditional burning technology. Lowering of consumer expenses depended on the type of replaceable fuel. In the conditions of conventional gas there was stated the insignificant (2,3%), but negative effect. Cumulative economic effect in the conditions of conventional gas interchange was achieved only by means of lowering the expenses for shrub reclaiming. Research results proved that at present it was the most expedient to apply fuel chips as the alternative fuel for replacing the residual fuel oil and domestic stove fuel. The highest economic effect was achieved after transfer of boiler installations using the fuel oil or stove fuel into fuel chips that made it possible to lower the consumer expenses on 44% and 69% accordingly. The economic effect after interchange of the traditional fuel types into fuel chips could be achieved only with the assumption that the coefficients of efficiency of boiler installations were lower than before the reconstruction. Efficiency of wood raw materials also depended on parity prices for energy resources
