[Modern state of reclaimed lands of Belarusian Poozerje]

Research of the reclaimed mineral lands reckoned to the most wide-spread lakeland territories of Belarusian Poozerje landscape groups showed that the main reasons of the long-term exceeded moisture content and stagnate of surface waters were the absence or inefficiency of engineering solutions for surface water withdrawal; low quality of some elements of reclamation systems constructions; physical and functional depreciation of some elements of leading and regulating networks; operational imperfection of reclamation systems. All studied lowlands differed by the soil and hydrogeological conditions, water regimen, and crop yielding capacity. Characteristic of water regimen abatement of the reclaimed lands on the low-lying lake-glacial, medium-lying moraine-lake and high-lying moraine-hilly landscapes in course of the vegetation period in years with various precipitation levels was presented. The generalized data on the agricultural crops yield losses on the overmoistened lands of various types in comparison with the average yields per field were analyzed. Yield structure of barley (Hordeum Vulgare L.) cultivated on the overmoisted lowlands of various type on the reclaimed objects was analysed and showed the tendency towards yield losses, lowering of thickness of sowings, crop height, number of grains per ear and weight of 1000 grains. Operational capability of the reclamation systems, usage efficiency and ecological stability of the reclaimed lands could be achieved by means of the sequencing planning and realization of the operational measures and actions for reconstruction and renewal of reclamation systems basing on the scientific approaches
