[Systems of the rational application of mineral and organic fertilizers in vegetables irrigation on sod-podzolic soils of Belarus]

Research of types, doses and proportions of mineral fertilizers applied in the process of irrigation as well as their combined application with the organic fertilizers for cultivation of cabbage (Brassica oleracea), carrot (Daucus carota L.) and red beet (Beta vulgaris L.) on sod-podzolic sandy-loam and light loamy soils in the conditions of stationary field experiments was realized for the first time in the Republic of Belarus. For the first time there was revealed the interaction of the forgoing factors of vegetables growth and development and their yielding capacity and quality. There were determined nutrient removal indices and coefficients of nutrient utilization by cabbage and table root crops from soil and fertilizers. Vegetable main nutrient requirements were determined. The highest cabbage yields cultivated on sandy-loam soils were obtained after application of N120P90K120, on light loamy soils – after application of N75P37,5K90. For the effective red beet cultivation on sandy-loam soils the best dose of fertilizers was N60P60K120, in the conditions of light loamy soils – N90P90K120. In the conditions of carrot cultivation on sandy-loam soils the best dose of fertilizers was N60P90K120, in the conditions of light loamy soils – N90P135K120. Realization of the proposed systems of fertilizers made it possible not only to increase yields of cabbage on 32-38 t/ha (107-160%), yields of table beet on 24-26 t/ha (114-163%) and yields of carrot on 23-38 t/ha (135-146%) but also to improve the phosphatic regime of sod-podzolic soils
