[Analysis of factors of production efficiency of meat-processing industry under risk conditions]

Current tendencies and problems of meat-processing industry branch development in the Republic of Belarus were analysed. Achievements and disadvantages of meat-processing industry functioning were specified. Analysis of risk factors rendering the most significant influence on the economic activity of slaughtering and meat processing plants was made. For the further rationalization of meat-processing industry it was proposed to intensify the processes of attracting investments in to the production sphere. The following indices of production effectiveness of meat-processing enterprises were analysed: yield of capital investments, capital-labor ratio, return on property plant and equipment, fund profitability, labor productivity, etc. Differences in the structure of capital funds for individual enterprises were considered. Influence of the following factors on the production potential level was studied: average annual cost of basic capital funds, the specific weight of their active part, the average annual cost of current assets, number of workers, and the level of automation of administrative accounting. The average annual operating assets and average value of productive assets exercised the highest influence, while workers number exercised the least influence
