Estudio de los efectos alelopáticos de residuos de maíz y sorgo en diferentes estados fisiológicos sobre cultivos de importancia económica y registro de la entomofauna presente en el cultivo del girasol (Helianthis annuus L.)

Este trabajo se realizó en la Facultad de Ciencias Agropecuarias de la Universidad Central de Las Villas con el objetivo de conocer el comportamiento alelopático en la germinación de los cultivos de girasol, maíz y sorgo así como conocer los principales insectos que se presentaron en el cultivo del girasol, fundamentalmente, cuando fue tratado con restos vegetales de maíz y sorgo en diferentes estados y a diferentes concentraciones. La experiencia se realizó sobre un suelo pardo con diferenciación de carbonatos. Los resultados expresaron que en los restos de follaje de maíz la concentración de aleloquímicos disminuye sensiblemente desde el estado de madurez, donde actúan como inhibidores, hasta el estado seco donde tienen efecto estimulador, no así en las raíces, donde perdura el efecto inhibitorio, mientras en los restos de sorgo las concentraciones de aleloquímicos, en ambos estados, son capaces de producir efectos inhibitorios sobre los cultivos estudiados. En cuanto a las plagas encontramos que las principales especies detectadas pertenecen a los órdenes Lepidoptera, Homoptera y Coleóptera. En los cultivos de importancia agronómica los mecanismos alelopáticos pueden constituir una vía alternativa en la rotación de los cultivos, las técnicas de siembra y las de fertilización.

This work was accomplished in the Agricultural Sciences Faculty of the University Central of Las Villas with the objective of knowing the behavior allelophatyc in the germination of the cultivation sunflower, corn and sorghum as well as to know the principal insects that were presented in the cultivation of the sunflower fundamentally when they are treated with vegetable corn remains and sorghum in different states and from different concentrations. The experience was accomplished on a brown soil with diferentiatión of carbonatos. The results expressed that in the remains of corn foliage the concentration of alelochemical reduces sensibly from the maturity state where act as inhibitors, until the dry state where have stimulative effect, not thus in the roots where lasts the inhibiting effect in so much in the sorghum remains the concentrations of alelochemical in both states are capable of producing inhibiting effects on the studied cultivation. Concerning the plagues we find that the principal detected kinds belong to the orders Lepidoptera, Homoptera and Coleoptera. In the cultivation of agronomyc importance the mechanisms alelophaty can constitute an alternative route in the cultivation rotation, technical of sowing, practical in the fertilization. Search of the beneficial cultivation associations, control of production of the agriculture will contribute to the development of the country in a agroecosistema.
