The study aims at estimation of some economic indicators to reconsider the crop pattern type especially for the most important agricultural crops consume water in view of estimation of the return of used water unit in each crop. The research depended on the methods of quantitative and qualitative analysis in studying the available water requirements also, the secondary data published and unpublished by the governmental bodies this besides the reports and research relevant to the subject. Generally, achieving the sustainable agricultural development for Egypt in the twentieth. One century must depend directly on signing new agreements with River Nile Basin countries to ensure Egypt's share from river water and to keep and develop this water wealth. The most important recommendations as follows : Concerns about applying water control policies in the agricultural sector. Increasing concern to carry out the projects of developing and rationali ze irrigation systems and scientific researches to increase irrigation efficiency. Continuation of the research and scientific to produce some varieties of crops less greed to water consumption or shot period in growth and high productivity. Directing water policies towards how to cover irrigation water costs, especially the Egyptian farmers used permanently to consume River Nile water freely since thousands of years. It is important to create body for water extension.
