Detection of fimbriae on haemorrhagic septicaemia associated Pasteurella multocida (B:2) isolates.

In the present investigation, some fimbriae-like filamentous appendages were observed on the surface of HS causing Pasteurella multocida (B:2) isolate. This, being a rare observation, will inspire others to investigate this aspect of Pasteurella multocida (B:2) while working on more number of isolates from different areas, so that a clear picture is established.
