Pulmonary tuberculosis in cattle brought at Tangra slaughter house, Koldata of West Bengal was studied and observed in 0.97 of the animals slaughtered. Grossly the lungs revealed various sized tubercles measuring upto 2 cm in diameter which were discrete, coalescing, caseated and capsulated. The lungs also showed consolidation and grayish yellow case0-necrotic nodules. Histopathological examinations of affected tissues revealed proliferation of connective tissue in the pleura,
