The Rey territory (S. Tehran) has been formed as a vast land with many seasonal watersheds. In this project, diversity of algae such as macrophytes and planktons studied in agricultural fields. The main focused habitats for algae collection were water canals and/or small waterways, wet soils, irrigated farms, orchards and some slime pits near farmlands. Whole of specimens (6 parts sample with water) fixed in 3 parts ethanol (95%) and one part formalin(40%) and then transferred to laboratory station at the same day. Identification of samples carried out systematically and the results was for 61 species in three groups, namely, Green algae, Diatoms and Blue-green algae. Some scientific articles published with special emphasis on applied phycology in this man-made area. Considering this and with respect to the importance of extension, it would be essential that without compellation of ecosystematic information and so using new technology such as biomonitoring, this process would be imperfect. In this approach, a detail of some offers has been offered in the present report.
