In order to Evaluate the effects of seed densities and phosphorous rates on the yield of a promising chickpea line Flip90-96C in warm dry land areas, this study was conducted through a factorial design based on RCB design with 4 replications in 4 years (1382-1386) in Gachsaran agricultural research station. The phosphorous rates consisted of 4 Level of P2O5, 0, 20, 40 and 60 kg/ha. The density rates were consisted of 3 Levels 30, 45 and 60 Seeds per square meter which combination of phosphorous rates and seed rates made 12 combined treatments. The result achieved showed that treatment P20D3 (20kg P2O5/ha and 45 seeds/m2) produced maximum grain yield1.885 t/ha while minimum yield was due to treatment P0D3 (with out useP2O5 and 60 seeds/m2) which produced 1.624 T/ha. The result of variance analysis showed the phosphorous effect on number of seed/spoke and dry matter significant difference at level of 1% and seed rate effect on dry matter significant difference at level of 1%. The effect of these treatments on other characteristics none significant. Interaction effect of phosphorous and seed rate on dry matter was significant at level of 1% and on plant height, TKW, and grain yield was significant at level of 5% but only no significant differences on number of seed/spoke.
