This experiment carried out in order to studing effects of corpping types (mono cropping of Alfalfa , Bromgrass , Crested wheatgrass and mixed cropping of Alfalfa + Bromgrass, Alfalfa +Crested wheatgrass) and seed density [(low density (569), medium density (853), and high density (1138) seed/m2] in factorial design with 3 replication, in saral research station in Divandareh of Kurdistan. Result&rsquos showed that monocropping of alfalfa with 2706 & 2199 kgh-1 yield, and mixedcropping of Alfalfa + Bromgrass with 2041 & 1857 kgh-1 in 4th. and 5th. Years of growth were better than other cropping types (α= 0.01). Effects of seed density on forage yield was significant (α= 0.01) in 2Th. Year of growth, and high seed density (1138 seed/m2) with 1049 kgh-1 forage production was better than other seed levels. The mono cropping of Alfalfa and mixedcropping of Alfalfa + grass have had the highest canopy cover percentage. Different studied factors haven&rsquot showed significant effect on plant height. Interaction of cropping type and seed density was significant for basal diameter (α= 0.05), and monocropping of bromgrass and low seed density (569 seed/m2) was successful. From view point of forage quality value, cropping type has significant effect on dry matter (α= 0.05), and effective on crude protein, gross energy & crude ash. Results of laboratory analysis of forage showed that the highest dry matter was belong to combined alfalfa + bromgrass on pure bromgrass forage, the highest crude protein was belong to combined alfalfa + grass and pure alfalfa forages. And pure crested wheatgrass forage has the highest gross energy and the lowest crude ash. As conclusion, the spring sowing of Alfalfa and Alfalfa + grass compound And suggest for quality and quantity yield and soil conservation and high density of seed (1138 seed/m2) the suitable density for forage cropping in dry farming conditions in Kurdistan.
