The PhD work is made in LLU Faculty of Economics in Department of Business and Administration from Year 2005 till Year 2009. The hypothesis is based on the results of researches who have been made before. Hypothesis – ecological segmented and peninsula factors affected territory of Kurzeme region proper for the development of differential, flexible and commercial effective agricultural structure in intraregions. The aim is to research the structural development of agriculture in districts and intraregions of Kurzeme and make the conception for farther facilities. PhD work is structured in 6 chapters. The results about identification of agricultural researches and also the theoretical and methodological aspects of production resources are analyzed in first chapter. The second chapter dedicated to the special documentary bases and institutional system of Kurzeme region. The main blocs of research are layout in third chapter. They is about using of land resources structure for development of crop farming and cattle-breeding, about using effectiveness of nature, anthropogenic and other resources, about farm polarization and progress in aspects of concentration, specialization and commercial orientation of production. But the forth chapter is dedicated for researching the production concentration, economical polarization of farms, production structure, labour-intensity, structure of assets and other indicative connection. Research results about assets, incomes and pay-off and structure of polarization and convergence are inserted in fifth chapter. They characterize the effectiveness promotion facilities, methods and instrument of agriculture. The content of closing chapter cover the second part of research aim and contain predictable and vision for structural and dynamical development of agriculture in Kurzeme. The end of PhD sets from 3 parts: (1) main conclusions, (2) problems and solution, (3) conclusions and resolutions.
