SPREADING AND ABUNDANCE OF ELATERIADE, COLEOPTERA LARVE IN SOME FOREST LANDS IN MOLDAVIA
2003
Ciuca L.
The present study seeks to establish the spreading and the differences connected with the diversity and density of Elateriade species in the forests from Moldova. The spreading of these species is strictly correlated to soil characteristics and their abundance is linked to food access and human interventions in ecosystems(pesticides, works). In nurseries, on the terrain cultivated with forest species, there were identified a small number of species from Agriotes whose density per square meter depends on the soil type, humidity, number of treatments, stand's age. The diversity of species is bigger under the forest canopy and in the fallow terrain from the nursery. Keywords: Coleoptera larvae, Elateriade
