Grape yield influence on grape and wine quality at different training systems was investigated, on the experimental fiedl of the Institute for Fruit Growing and Viticulture in Sremski Karlovci, Serbia, during the 1988-1998 period. Investigated cultivars were Riesling Italian, Red Traminer, Sila and Zupljanka. The established training systems included Karlovacki, Sylvoz, Single curtain and GDC. In this work as a representative for espaliers was used Karlovacki and for curtains - Single curtain, because of the volume of the work. It was established that in all investigated cultivars were achieved high grape yields, with high sugar content and good wine quality. Sugar content is in the negative and wine quality is in the positive correlation with grape yield. Statistical significant positive correlation was established only between wine quality and grape yield in the cultivar Zupljanka at Single curtain and very negative statistical significant correlation only between grape yield and sugar content in the cultivar Traminer at Karlovacki training system.
