In this paper the possibilities of usage of Na-hypochlorite obtained by electrochemical procedure in Hipogen(R) device, as teat dip disinfectant, 15 minutes after twice a day milking in tied rearing stable were presented. The obtained data demonstrate reduction of total bacteria count, Gram negative bacteria and enterobacteria counts on the top of papilla after performed disinfection. The total bacteria count was decreased 10 to 10**4 times, particularly when the disinfectant concentration was increased, while reduction of Gram-negative and enterobacteria was moderate, 90% mostly. No significant changes of papilla, except mild temporary wrinkling, were noticed. Significant resemblance between data obtained by slide test method and classic swabs method was noticed.
