In this research, five isolates of Rhizoctonia solani, which were isolated from sugar beet root collected in the Vojvodina Province (Serbia), were tested and compared with two standard isolates from Montana, USA. These isolates were tested for main features of the species, such as appearance and colour of mycelia, branching and septation of hyphae, as well as the presence of multinucleate cell.
