The development of alkalization processes of the part of the Sava river basin as the possibility of deterioration of salt regime in the soil is not pronounced, but the leached-out aqueous calcites in the groundwater are present. The level of negative correlation of magnesium and calcium of the Sava river is the highest during the droughty period during 2003 and 2005. The alkalization processes determined by standardized data of sodium adsorption ratio- SAR index and phosphorus concentration interpreted an homogeny of mean values.
