The potato cultivars and hybrids (wild-growing species, such as S. acaule Bitt., S.bulbocastanum Dun., S.demissum Lindl. and domestic species S.phureja Juz.et Buk., S. andigenum .et Buk., S. tuberosum are among their parents) yield differences are under study. Each generation results by self-pollination. It is found out that the yield expression is low in the 1 vegetative (tuber) generation than in the 2 one, except 83.58c52 and the variety Lasunak. This can be explained by the biological properties of their parents, environmental factors during vegetation and their relations. The high variability of yield expression (the maximum coefficient of variability is 124%) is characteristic for the received generation. A little lower coefficient is determined for the standard varietes Nezabudka, Svitanok kievskij, Lugovskoj and conventional standard at their planting by tubers. The generation of interspecific hybrids only is characterized by higher yield in compare with all the standards. Thus, the interspecific hybrids of potato are of great value for growing potato from botanical seeds in compare with the varieties, though the difference between the 1 ones and the standards is nor significant
