The article analyses and evaluates management data availability for the modelling of agro-ecosystem on the global level. Modelling relates with the creation of model reality and predicts the evolution of the agro-ecosystem. Collection of data depends on the EPIC model requirements for essential input data. Management data required by the EPIC model can be divided into 5 separate groups: crop rotation and crop share; crop calendar; fertilization; irrigation and mechanization. Available data evaluation followed three dimensions: spatial resolution of the data, attribute depth of the data and spatial data extent/coverage. Global-level management data availability is for all groups assessed as suboptimal.
