Effect of particular nutritional treatment on yields, content of nitrates and vitamin C in fruits of green pepper was investigated in one-year small-plot experiment on medium-heavy brown soil. Positive significant influence of applied nutrition in combination with Pentakeep V on the yields of green pepper fruits (variety of SLÁVY F1) was observed. The application of Pentakeep V under the rate 0.1-0.5 l per ha significantly increased the yield of green pepper fruits by 15.4 to 25.3%. This value corresponds to the increment of fruit yields by 6.4-10.6 t per ha. The highest yield of green pepper was gained in case of the treatment 3, at the rate of 0.5 L of Pentakeep V in 500 L of water per hectare representing 52.52 t per ha. In this treatment also the highest increment of yield was achieved (10.60 t per ha), and the highest profit of 159 792 Sk/ha at the coefficient of economical effectiveness KEE=26.6 was created. In all treatments by Pentakeep V the content of nitrates decreased from 5.8% to 13.4% in comparison with the control treatment, and what is more, all determined contents of nitrates in pepper fruits were lower than current hygienic limits.
