Ten lactobacilli strains were isolated from cow and ewe milk to study their antimicrobial activity agains selected bacteria and molds by diffusion method. From among antimicrobial substances, production of lactic and phenyllactic acids in MRS broth was monitored by HPLC UV/RID.
