Aim of this research is to study the relationship between the Bang Mot tangerine orchard and the Bang Mot agricultural community, and the agricultural way of life. The study is based on qualitative research. The data collecting was from documentary study. Field data was collected by In-depth Interview, participatory observation and informal focus group discussion. These were analysed and synthesised by content analysis and inductive analysis. The results of the research show phenomenon of the strong commitment between the orchard and the community. The development of the community can be devided into many periods from the initial planting of the orchard to present time of its rehabilitation. The agricultural way of life is a step-by-step system using local wisdom, traditional knowledge of planting passed down through the generations. At present, the orchard is a place used for an agriculturist's career path and for eco-tourism. The Bang Mot tangerine orchard seems to be a community resource for lifelong learning.
