Study on parasite of some cyprinid fishes from Bang Pra reservoir Chon Buri province was conducted. Fish were collected for 12 months during December 2007 to November 2008. A total number of 480 fishes from two species, Puntius gonionotus and Cirrhinus jullieni were investigated. Eleven species of parasites were classified in six phyla. Eight species of parasites were found in Puntius gonionotus. There were six species of ectoparasites, two species of Protozoa (Unidentified Microspore and Thelohanellus sp.), two species of monogene (Dactylogyrus lumpum and Dactylogyrus kanchanaburiensis), one species of arthropod (Argulus siamensis) and two species of endoparasites, one species of trematode (Unidentified digenea), one species of acanthocephalan (Acanthosentis siamensis). Three species of ectoparasites were found in Cirrhinus jullieni including two species of monogene (Dactylogyrus sp. and Thaparogyrus jullieni) and one species of Isopod (Unidentified Isopod).
